• North Carolina Bouldering

What a nice weekend it was in the mountains of North Carolina.  I went from Columbia >> Rumbling Bald >> Boone >> Wilkesboro >> Boone >> Columbia.  I’m glad I had MLK day off to recover from all of that driving.  After weeks of cold the weather finally broke and hosted mild temperatures.  On Saturday and Sunday it was 55 degrees and sunny.  As I strolled around the boulderfields it seemed like everybody was talking about how good it felt to finally get some sun on their face.  Although it’s been pretty mild in Columbia it was still a great feeling to boulder in a t-shirt.  I thoroughly enjoyed my weekend  — good people.
